From the Garden - Third week in November 2020

#EatSeasonal

Hi, Neighbor!

While 2020 has been a real challenge for everyone in our circle, we are thankful to still have a circle. This Holiday season, we remember seasons past and tables full of rich food, surrounded by loved ones who we could snuggle up to without a care in the world. Of how this season is so very different, and how we are so much more mindful of the connections we still have.
Even as we try to navigate our own family and friends dynamic during this pandemic, we realize that everybody has to eat, and we are honored to have the work of our hands and your neighbors' gardens make it to your table, however you manage your holiday gatherings.

This week, our store has two CSA food box options and an additional pickup option (Tuesday, Nov 24).
We've added another tea (Repose, with lavender and chamomile), and we have fresh Lion's Mane and Shiitake mushroom.
Whole head lettuces, persimmons, pears, sweet potatoes, and all the goodness of the harvest season is available for you to apply your creativity and love, then share with those close to you.

CoOp Membership:

If you'd like to learn to garden, we'd love to have some help on Monday mornings this winter, and would trade CoOp membership for the pleasure of your company. Please contact us and we'll get you the details of our workshare program.

There are still a couple of houses available in our neighborhood as well. One is for sale, with a nice, sunny aspect (excellent potential for a garden), and the other is a rental on the end of a quiet street. Although we would not put a garden on a rental property, we would be happy to see a tenant there who was interested to practice alongside us in their neighbors' gardens! If you or someone you know might be interested, please snatch these up and tell the agent where you heard about the listing!

Thank you for your support!!!

Thursday will be self-service pickup in the CoOp. Pop in the front woodshed at The Kingsridge CoOp Orchard 3-5pm for all the goodness, and Rob will be nearby. If you have a question, please follow the directions on the board and text him. He'll come down, wash up, and help make sure you get what you came for.
We'll be at Downtown Woodstock Farm.Fresh.Market. Saturday morning from 8:30-10 for pickup and till 12 for walk-up service.
Tuesday will once again be self-service pickup at The Kingsridge CoOp Orchard 3-5pm. Same instructions as above.
